Dorothy Keisler Shealy Obituary

Dorothy Keisler Shealy passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at age 92. She was born in Lexington County on April 18, 1930, to the late Voyt W. and Ola Lee Risinger Keisler. She was a member of Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church. A home maker for many years, Dot later worked at Tapps Department Store and as an assistant librarian at Hyatt Park Elementary School.

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Dot will be greatly missed by her daughters, Dianne Mullis, Donna Willingham and Dannette Stephens; grandchildren, Greg Mullis, Lauren Fellers, Amanda Shealy, Ryan Willingham and Trevor Stephens; and great grandchildren, Kaleb and Abigael Compton, Desmond Mullis, and Forrest and Charlotte Nicolai. She was predeceased by her husband of 71 years, Donald L. Shealy.

The family will hold a private graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church in Chapin. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel, is assisting the family.
