Donald Pickens Shealy

Leesville—Services for Donald Pickens Shealy, 77, will be conducted at 11:00 am Tuesday Jan. 11, 2022 at Union Lutheran Church with the Rev. William Ebener officiating.  Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Union Lutheran Church, 4077 Hwy. 378, Leesville, SC  29070. Barr-Price Funeral Home, Historic B-L Chapel is assisting the family.

  Mr. Shealy died Saturday Jan. 8, 2022.  Born in Leesville, he was the son of Henry Pickens and Rhondell Price Shealy, was a member of Union Lutheran Church and was a member of the ACTS SS Class.   He retired from Michelin, worked at Rawl’s Auto Auction on sale day, was an avid fisherman and made many friends along the way.

  Surviving is his wife, Judith Funderburk Shealy, nephew, Ricky Long (Carolyn), great-nephew, Matthew Long (Tammy), great-great-nephews, Kane and Hunter Long.

  He was predeceased by his sister, Kay Long Hightower.
