Donald E. Clamp

Donald Eugene Clamp, age 91, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025. Born on December 6, 1934, Donald lived a long life marked by devotion to his family, hard work, and quiet kindness. He retired from Southern Bell after many years of dedicated service.

He was predeceased by his parents, Reedy and Pearl Clamp; his sisters, Marrene Long, Betty Soles, and Ruby Gantt; and his brother, Bert Clamp.

Donald was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Janette Roof Clamp; his brothers, Wayne Clamp and Curtis Clamp; his children, Eugene Clamp (Nita), Glen Clamp (Brenda), Cindy Whisenant (Ricky), Randall Clamp, and Sandra Clamp; his grandchildren, Melisa Roberts (Richard), Eric Clamp (Jordin), Cassie Stone (Jonathan), Chad Clamp (Heather), Leslie Christofoli (Robb), and Jody Clamp (Holly); and his great-grandchildren, Emersin Clamp, Emily Roberts, Everleigh Clamp, Grayson Stone, Raines Clamp, Beck Clamp, Brieanna Christofoli, and Nathan Stone.

A service will be held at Pisgah Lutheran Church (1350 Pisgah Church Road, Lexington SC) at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2025. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pisgah Lutheran Church and the Lexington Technology Center Future Farmers of America (FFA) Club.  Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family.
