Dewey T. Warren, Jr., 87, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 24, 2025. Born on July 4, 1938 in York, Pennsylvania, to the late Dewey T. Warren, Sr. and Dorothy M. Billet Warren. Mr. Warren served our country in the United States Air Force, where he was an aircraft and power plant mechanic until his retirement. He was a member of Aimwell Presbyterian Church, Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Air Force Sergeants Association, Disabled American Veterans, Aiken Commandery of Knights Templar, Royal Order of Scotland, a Master Mason and Past Master with Vine Grove Masonic Lodge #603 Vine Grove, KY, National Sojourners, Royal Arch Masons of Aiken, Jamil Shrine, Order of the Eastern Star, and Order of the Amaranth (Past Grand Royal Patron 3 times),
Surviving are his wife, Patricia S. Warren; sons, Michael Warren and Jackie Feemster, daughters, Barbara Hoover and Anna Marie Harrison; daughter-in-law, Sammie Warren; brothers, William Warren and Robert Warren; sister, Ruth Ellen Shifflett; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his first wife, Virginia L. Warren and sons, Richard Warren and Robert Warren.
A memorial service with military will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Aimwell Presbyterian Church, (245 S. Means St., Ridgeway SC 29130) with the Rev. Erwin Threatt officiating. Private inurnment will be held at Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the sanctuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
