Dennis Dale Wood

Dennis Dale Wood passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020. A funeral mass will be held 11am Friday, May 14, 2021 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church.  Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel, is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson’s Disease Foundation or the charity of your choice.

Dennis was the son of the late Ralph and Marie Wood.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Rosemary “Thumper” Mulcahy Wood; sons, Michael (Dana), Patrick (Kristin), and Stephen (Amy); grandchildren, Isabel, Ryan, Kaitlyn, Cory, Connor, and Logan; sisters, Carol Wood Ross (Larry) of Bay Village, OH, Jeanne Wood Johnson (Michael) of Cleveland, OH, and Sharon Wood Cavey of Omaha, NE; sister-in-law, Patricia Mulcahy Boehmer (Dial) of Valley City, OH; and his nieces and nephews.

Mr. Wood was in the US Army, and served in Vietnam from 1965-1966.  He was awarded the Air Medal for Heroism, First thru Sixteenth Oak Leaf Clusters.
