Dennis Reynolds Obituary

Dennis Reynolds, 85, of Lexington, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2026.

Dennis was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, to Robert L. Reynolds and Roberta R. Reynolds on April 21, 1940.  He attended Woodruff High School.  After high school he joined the Army National Guard and served with the 151st Tank Battalion.  After serving in the National Guard, he worked with the City of Columbia and Lake Murray Water Plant as an electrician and retired in 1995.  Dennis was a faithful member of Round Hill Baptist Church.  He devoted his life to serving his family and the Lord.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching baseball, watching football, and spending time with his family.  His grandchildren were the highlight of his life.  He was a friend to everyone he knew and if you knew him you were blessed to have a friend like our Dad.

Dennis was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Rachel “June” Reynolds. 

He is survived by his two sons, Christopher (Nikki Baxley) Reynolds and Mike Reynolds; daughter, Nikki (Bryson) Koon; grandchildren, Brianna, Dalton, Matthew, Rachel, Nathan, and Caroline; and great-grandchildren, Callan and Bobbie June.

A memorial service will be held 3pm Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Agape Senior Foundation, 1624 Main Street, Columbia, South Carolina, 29201.
