Delores (Hoffman) Spires

Graveside services for Delores Hoffman Spires, 92, will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Ridge Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at the Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium Historic B-L Chapel.

Mrs. Spires passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. She was born in Augusta, GA, the daughter of Hampton Jefferson Hoffman and Cora Simpson Hoffman. She was a member of Mt. Hebron Lutheran Church and a member of the Beaver Creek Indians of Salley, SC. Mrs. Delores served as a Personnel Specialist at the South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Dept.

Surviving are her son, Mark L. Spires (Kim), a daughter in law, Susan Spires, grandchildren; Kenneth Spires Jr, Scott Spires (Carla), Jonathan Spires (Karla), Joshua Spires, great-grandchildren; Emily Spires and Fisher Spires. She was predeceased by her husband E.L. Spires Jr., son, Kenneth C. Spires, and a grandson, Jeremy Spires.
