Debbie built a career at Southland Equipment as a Road Service Coordinator in the material handling industry, where she was known for her strong work ethic, problem-solving skills and her ability to coordinate even the most complex operations with ease. She took pride in her work and in helping others, and that same steady, caring spirit carried into every part of her life.
Even with the demands of a busy career. Debbie always made time for what mattered most-her family, her loved ones, her church family, and the relationships she cherished deeply. She will be remembered for her caring heart, her positive spirit, and her remarkable resilience. Debbie was selfless and devoted to making sure those around her were happy, cared for, and loved. She shared her love freely and generously, leaving a lasting impact on everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Debbie was predeceased by her father, Henry Herrman; her mother, Wilma Herrman; and her sisters, Shirley Ann Platt and Estella Josephine (Jo) Tucker.
She is survived by her daughter, Samantha Tobias (Adam); her son, Andrew Woodburn (Lori); her grandchildren, Hanna Tobias, Haley Tobias, Samuel Tobias, and Bodhi Reigns; her sisters, Mary Jane (Jeannie) Duncan, Diane Poston, and Linda Herrman-Miller; her brothers, Richard Herrman, Glenn Herrman, and Tony Herrman; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
A service will take place at 11am Friday, June 5, 2026 at Pine Bluff Baptist Church, 1025 Pineview Rd. Columbia, SC. 29209. All those whose lives were touched by Debbie are warmly invited to join in honoring her memory and celebrate the love she shared so generously.
