On March 22, 2026, Danny William Ross passed away peacefully at his home at the age of 67. Born on July 15, 1958, in Vermilion, Alberta, Canada, Danny carried a light sense of humor that touched everyone who knew him.
Danny spent most of his life in Canada before his career in the pipe coating industry gave him the opportunity to fulfill his lifelong dream of moving to the United States. He eventually made his home in Lexington, South Carolina, where he built a life filled with purpose, pride, and meaningful connections.
In his retirement, Danny found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved spending time with his friends at Wings & Ale, where laughter and good conversation were always in abundance. Sundays were especially meaningful to him, often spent with his daughter, Jamie, creating memories that will be cherished forever. Danny was a devoted Elvis fan, rarely missing a chance to enjoy the music of the King of Rock and Roll.
He is survived by his children, Samantha Lynn (Ross) Losing and her husband, Grant Losing, Daniel Ryan Ross (Mia), and Jamie Delainey Ross. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren. In addition, he is survived by his sisters, Susan Althouse and Colleen Ross; his brother, Pat Ross; and his former wife, Sheila Dawn-Michael Ross, with whom he remained close friends.
Danny is also survived by his faithful companion, his dog Mila, who was with him to the very end.
He was predeceased by his parents, Melvin Hudson and Myrna Ross; his son, Tanner Ross; and his late wife, Angelia Ross.
Danny will be remembered for his kindness, his laughter, and the love he gave so freely. His presence left a lasting mark on all who knew him, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those he loved.
