Danny Lee McCullough

Danny Lee McCullough, 67, passed away July 22, 2026. Born in Lexington County on January 19, 1959 to the late Vernon E. and Betty Jean Hughes McCullough.

Mr. McCullough had a great love for the outdoors, he enjoyed building and fixing things in his downtime. Danny was devoted to his Clemson Tigers, but the most important thing to him was his title of “Papa”.

Danny is survived by his loving wife Sonya West McCullough, his son, Lee McCullough, daughters; Stephanie McCullough Stone and Kristen McCullough, brother, Terry McCullough, sister, Kay Puckett (Frank), grandchildren; Nicholas, Tripp, Bailey, Emerie, Joey, Henleigh, and Freya, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brothers; Wayne and Keith McCullough and a sister, Debra Surber.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to the Wittenberg Lutheran Church Food Pantry.

A celebration of life will be held at the Ridge Road Community Center located at 1257 Ridge Road Batesburg-Leesville, SC 29070 on Saturday, August 8, 2026 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.
