Danielle Montgomery was born August 15, 1983, and passed on September 5, 2021. She was the treasured daughter of Bridget and Forest Montgomery. Danielle was a loving sister to Forest, Ryan, Jesse, and her twin, Sara. She was the mother of three beautiful girls, Maya, Bailey, and Dana Nicholas, and would have done anything for them.
Danielle spent most of her time reading, studying, and watching fantastical or sci-fi movies. She never passed up the opportunity for a deeply thoughtful or equally silly conversation. She was strong willed and had a fiery passion with everything she did. Graduating as a Registered Nurse, while raising three kids, is certainly not a small feat. After getting her degree, she spent time working in a government facility, and then caretaking for elderly patients, devoting her time to ensure their last moments were comfortable. Her caretaking didn’t end there; she was always there to lend a helping hand to her children, friends, and family. She never hesitated to try and soothe or unofficially diagnose any ailments people came to her with or to stop for animals that needed help getting off of the road. The love in her heart was something incomprehensible, and something that will live on with her spirit far beyond her passing.
Her time on earth may have been cut short, but the imprint of her life among those who surrounded her will last many lifetimes. Anyone who knew her will miss her dearly, and always think of her fondly. She will be buried with her father in Charlestown, Indiana. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family.
