Constance Ann Larkin Obituary

Constance Ann Regan Larkin, 88, of Lexington, S. C. entered into eternal rest on December 5th . She was the wife of Jeff Larkin of Lexington, and the mother of Lori A. McKelvey (Erik) of Lexington, and Steven Larkin of Columbia, S. C. She was the proud Nana of Jackson McKelvey (Lexi) of Lexington and Emmeline McKelvey of Charleston, S. C. She leaves behind two sisters, Kathleen Gallahue of New Jersey and Susan Taylor of Woodstock, Georgia; three brothers, Edward Carr (Margaret) of Travelers Rest, S. C., William Carr (Bonnie) of Ocala, Florida, and James Carr (Joyce) of Buford, Georgia; and many nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Larkin was predeceased by her parents, Thomas Regan and Ella Krumsdorf; a brother, Tom Regan; and a sister, Elise Carr.

She was of the Roman Catholic faith. Born in Staten Island N.Y., she graduated from New Dorp High School in 1955 and worked over the years in the secretarial field, finishing her career at Burnside Elementary in Richland District One, where she won many honors. Connie loved the Gamecocks, making pic collages, gum, a good muffin, and her family with all her heart. Her life was a blessing and her memory, a treasure.

A family celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family requests in lieu of flowers, make a donation to your nearest animal shelter in Connie’s name. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family.
