Clyverd Price Obituary
Memorial service for Clyverd Price, 86, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday January 26, 2023 at Beulah UMC with the Rev. Tony Rowell officiating. The family will receive friends in the church from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the memorial service.Interment will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beulah UMC 161 Beulah Church Rd. Gilbert. SC 29054. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel is assisting the family.
Mr. Price passed away Friday, January 20, 2023. Born in Gilbert, he was the son of the late Charlie Ervin and Eppie Annie Smith Price, a member of Beulah UMC, Hollow Creek Ruritan Club, and Men’s Club of Beulah UMC. He was a US Army Veteran, worked many years at Standard Trucking Co. and retired from Old Dominion.
Surviving include his sisters-in-law, Ernestine Price, Ruby Swygert and Sandra Hartley; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Loretta Whitman Price; brothers, McCoy (Nathalie), Herman (Sylvia), Yuvone, William (Betty), and Hampton (Adrienne) Price; sisters, Veterie (Joseph) Slice, Juanita Pitts, and Laura Roland (Robbie).
