Clyde "Ed" Meetze

Lexington-Funeral service for Clyde “Ed” Meetze, 83, will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel. Burial will follow at Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Meetze passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022. Born on July 4, 1939 he was a son of the late Clyde C. and Janie Mae Meetze. He worked for JA Meetze and Sons and retired from SC State Department of Corrections.

Surviving include his sisters, Carolyn (John) Hill and Kay Bolton; brother, Bobby C. (Pam) Meetze; nieces, Ashley (Nick) Gunn and Janna (Randall) Headden;  nephews, Ralph (Holly) Hill, Steven (Jessica) Meetze, BJ (Tonya) Meetze and Scott (Marlana) Meetze; and many great nieces and nephews and his pet companion Ziggy.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Louise Meetze; brothers, Harry Meetze and Ted Meetze; and nephew, David Meetze.
