Claire Ann Pierce

Memorial services for Claire Ann Pierce, 22, will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2025, at First Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Mendle Baker officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to the Midlands Chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), 421 Mission Ct., Irmo, SC 29063.  Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Pierce passed away Sunday, May 18, 2025.  Born in West Columbia, she is a daughter of David and Virginia Pierce.  She was a 2021 graduate of Gilbert High School and was employed with Wal-Mart of Batesburg-Leesville.

Surviving are her parents, her grandparents, Benny and Margaret Dowdy, David and Jean Pierce, Ann and Tommy Leonhardt; brother, Gage Pierce, sister, Rayna Pierce; step-brother, Caleb Trimnal, aunts, Jeannie (Dennis) Anonie, Pamela Ray, and Brittany Sharpe, uncle Blake Sharpe, and numerous cousins. She was predeceased by her step-mother, Melissa Pierce.
