Christopher Glenn Raines, 51, passed away Monday, November 24, 2025. He was an avid outdoorsman, who started his own business, Palmetto Archery Targets. He loved nature, wildlife and his precious cat, Vladamir.
Chris never met a stranger, and he would offer advice to anyone that would listen. He was a Music Man, known locally as "The Real AJ Blues." By sponsoring Open Mic events, many musicians were able to showcase their talents. His spare time was spent playing his harmonica, playing cards or most any board game.
Chris leaves behind his mother, Marie Corley; step-dad, Dan Corley; the love of his life, Christi Walker, who he had known for 45 years; and a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his brother, Eric Raines; grandmother, Esther Foust; and step-grandparents, Jack and Margie Corley.
Chris is finally at peace. One of his famous sayings was "Always do the best you can with what you got."
