Charles Edward Still

Charles Edward Still passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023. He was born on March 1, 1942 in Barnwell, SC to the late Charles “Charlie” H. Still and Rivannah M. Kemp.

Charles loved playing guitar and singing and listening to music. He loved his family and friends and most of all, he loved Jesus.

He is survived by his sisters, Mamie Nell Shumpert of Gaston, SC and Betty J. Robertson of Cayce, SC, as well as many nieces and nephews and also his special friend and caregiver, Mrs. Anne Whitt.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Rivannah Still; a sister, Eloise Still and a brother-in-love, Leroy “Daddy” Shumpert.

There will be a private family memorial service held at a later date. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel, is assisting the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that  donations be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692 Dallas, Texas 75284-0692.

The family wishes to give a special thanks to Olesha Gaffney and Megan Bishop of the Agape Care of Spartanburg Hospice for their special care.
