Charles (Charley)Christopher Gossett, 32 of Gilbert, SC passed away Nov. 17th, 2019 from an automobile accident in Lexington, SC.
Charley as he was known, was predeceased by his nephews Caiden Ash Murray and Noah Elijah Spicer, Maternal Grandmother Shirley Jean Elliott and Grandfather Billy Joe Murray. He is survived by his mother Tammy Lisa Spicer, stepfather Johnny Lee Spicer and biological father Daryl Nelson Gossett. Brothers; Travis Neil Hines of Gilbert, Nicholas Scott Murray of Aiken, Jonathan Lee Spicer of Gilbert, John David Spicer of Columbia and Robert Shane Spicer of Spartanburg. Uncles; William Joseph Murray of Spartanburg and George Dean Murray of Gilbert. Aunt; Saundra Murray of Gilbert Nieces; Kori (Murray) Smith of Lexington, Braelynn Murray of Aiken and Evelyn Spicer of Spartanburg. Nephews; Dominick Murray of Gilbert, Bryce Murray of Aiken and Isaiah & Luke Spicer of Lexington. Best friends since childhood; Andrew Jarrell and Joey Theiss along with many, many more friends.
Charley loved; music, streaming and his family & friends along with his dog Ash. Charley graduated from Gilbert High School in 2005 and received his Associates degree in forestry from Georgetown, SC.
Charley was the most sincere, kind-hearted man who was always there for his family and friends. He will forever remain in our hearts and memories until we meet again.
The family is at the home of his mother, Tammy Spicer (565 Ariel Circle, Lexington, SC.)
We will gather for a “Celebration of Charley’s Life” at Virginia Hylton Park, 111 Maiden Lane, Lexington, SC on Tuesday November 26th anytime between 3-5 for an informal gathering to tell your favorite stores or speak about what an amazing man my son was. Please bring a chair or blanket to sit on. Please come dressed in casual clothes for Charley. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made here in honor of Charley's late nephew, Caiden.
