Celesta "Deshaun" Thomas

Funeral service for Celesta "Deshaun" Thomas, 42, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday May 2, 2025 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel with Elder Sylvia McKenzie officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 1,  2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ms. Thomas passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2025. Born in Lexington, she was a daughter of David L. Thomas and Inez Williams Cook and was a remote patient care representative.  Ms. Thomas was a former member of the Willing Workers, loved to sing Gospel Music where she was a member of MV Divine, Team JD and the Girls, and Young Voices of Christ.

Survivors include her children, Kaniya Martin, Omarion Martin and NyAsia Robinson and Lue Thomas; parents, David L. Thomas and Inez Williams Cook; siblings, Duane Willimas, Thurrenda Thomas, Gwen Long, Andrena Childs, Ricardo Williams, and Dominque Williams; grandchild, Kaison Rowe; aunt, Delia Mae Lewie; and host of nieces, nephews, god children, and cousins that she truly loved like her own.
