Carrie "Louise" Lloyd

Carrie “Louise” Lloyd, 86, of Lexington, died Sunday, April 21, 2024.

She was born on July 4, 1937, in Swansea, SC. She was the daughter  of the late Avie Lloyd. Her mother died when she was a baby. She lived with a few different aunts throughout her childhood. She came as a young woman to live with Marion and her Aunt Vera Lloyd Chavis and their daughters, Murie and Marlean.

Louise worked at Baptist Hospital in the dietary department for 30 plus years, before retiring.

She is not survived by any immediate family. However, she had extended family and cousins who cared for her and she was deeply loved.

Louise was a sweet soul who will be missed by her family and friends. Her Faith and Family were most important to her. She is in the arms of Jesus and her body is whole again.

There will be a Graveside service held at Antioch Baptist Church, 1477 W. E. Jeffcoat Road, Gaston, SC 29053, on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 11:00 am. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel, is assisting the family.
