Carolyn Redmond Skinner

Carolyn passed away on April 25, 2025. Carolyn was born on November 8, 1946 in Columbia, SC to the late Christine Tidwell Redmond and John Omerle Redmond. Carolyn loved spending time with her grandchildren and listening to their impromptu family concerts. Carolyn also faithfully attended the Salvation Army Corps in Irmo, SC.

Survivors include her daughter, Tabitha (Brian) Soderstrom of Lexington; son, Kevin Skinner of West Columbia; and her grandchildren, Daniel Soderstrom, Alison Soderstrom, Noah Skinner and Elijah Skinner.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 32 years, Alan Hamer Skinner; son, Glenn Barry Skinner; daughter-in-law, Angel Davis Skinner; and sister, Joyce Heath.

Visitation for Carolyn will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at Barr-Price Funeral Homes and Crematorium at 609 Northwood Road | Lexington, SC. The funeral service will start at 1:00 PM. Following the service, the burial will take place at Celestial Memorial Gardens, 3111 Delree Street, West Columbia, SC, 29170.
