Carol Anne Anslow Obituary

Carol Anne Anslow

Born December 21, 1939

Passed January 18, 2024

A wise woman once said, “It’s a great life if you don’t weaken.” That woman was Carol Anslow. She loved her life, she loved her family, and she never turned anyone away. She showed many years of love, dedication, and understanding to us all. When you came to her house, you weren’t coming to grandma's, you were coming home. Home is where the heart is, and she was the heartbeat and the glue of this family. She never turned anyone away who needed a pillow, a meal, a cup of coffee, or hot tea, and she was always available for a hug no matter the day or time. She loved to engage in conversation and talk about the “good ol’ days”. She taught each of us in the family many things, but one thing she didn't teach us was how to prepare for her passing. Her passing has left a major hole in all our hearts, but she wouldn't want us to cry. She would want us all to celebrate the fact that she is home and is no longer in pain and with the love of her life, Lawrence W. Anslow.

Carol was also a Jehovah's Witness. She loved her church family just as much as she loved her family. She would speak very highly of each of them and would always light up when she would find out they were coming to see her. She wasn't able to make it to church, but she so desperately wanted to. She wanted to have her services at her church, where she felt at home. (Date and time to be determined)

Carol is survived by three children: a son, Lawrence R. Anslow and wife Tammy Anslow, and two daughters, Jennifer Getts and Amy Vaughan. She has fifteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren."
