Funeral services for Capricia Hampton,  55, will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 29, 2025 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel with the Re. Freddrick Brooks officiating. Burial will follow at Bryant Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ms. Capricia Hampton passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2025. She was born in Newberry County of the Nathan Etheridge and Lula Langford Glover. She was a former employee of McDonalds.

Surviving are her mother and step-father Lula and James Glover, her father, Nathan Etheridge, special friend, Eddie Johnson; daughter, Tiffany Rodgers (Montreal Leaphart); son, Calvin Hampton; brothers, Steven Langford Patrick Glover, Willie Glover, and Jeremiah Glover; sister, Janie Glover; and grandchildren Ethan Rodgers, Emerald Leaphart, Carmelo Hampton, Kyler Hampton, Jordynn Leaphart and Khloe Merritt.
