Lexington – Memorial services for Brittany Michelle Shirley will be held 3:00pm, Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Visitation will be held following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pawmetto Lifeline, 1275 Bower Pkwy, Columbia, SC, 29212.
Brittany passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021. She was the daughter of Paul Shirley (Veronica) and Vicki Stewart (Wade Miller). In addition to her parents, survivors include her brother, Cody Shirley; boyfriend, Mitch Callen; paternal grandmother, Lona Ann Buchanan; maternal grandparents, Jean and Donald McLane; uncles, Frank McLane and Daniel Thomas Shirley, Jr; aunts, Nanette McLane and Donna Lynn Shirley; cousins, Katie McLane, Klaire Smith (Parker); godparents, Mark and Lisa Douthett; numerous other family and friends; and her beloved Jack Russell, Beckett. She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Daniel Thomas Shirley, Sr.
Brittany was a Vet Tech for over 9 years. She was a lover of Reggae music and traveled to over 25 states attending concerts. Brittany was a very genuine person, always remaining positive to help build others up. She had an infectious smile and a beautiful soul.
