Brianna Jade Davis

Brianna Jade Davis, a vibrant soul cherished by all who knew her, unexpectedly left this world on Monday, May 22nd, 2023, at the age of 19. She was born on November 25, 2003, in West Columbia, SC, to her loving mother, Jennifer Marie Davis. Throughout her life, Brianna was nurtured by her adoring Nana Kathy and Papa Leroy Davis, alongside her brothers, Devin and True, and her Aunt Brittany and Uncle Jeremy.

In her formative years, Brianna attended Lexington Two Schools and found joy in expressing herself through the art of dance at Dance Techniques in Lexington, SC.  A member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Brianna's radiant personality, coupled with her boundless creativity, fueled her passion for music, art, and dance. With a heart that embraced the world, Brianna greeted every stranger as a potential friend and reveled in embarking on new adventures with her beloved family and cherished friends. Her unwavering love for animals was evident through her affectionate care for her dogs, Dixie, Roscoe, and Taz, who reciprocated her adoration unconditionally.

While Brianna's absence leaves an irreplaceable void, her family kindly requests that her memory be celebrated for the effervescent spirit and open-mindedness she embodied throughout her life. Let us remember her for the joy she brought to others and the zest she had for living, rather than dwell on the sorrow of her untimely departure. Brianna's legacy will forever remain etched in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her, and her presence will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her mother, Jennifer Davis; grandparents, Wilbert Leroy Davis and Kathy Davis; grandmother, Brenda Turner; brothers, Devin Boineau and True Phillips; uncles, Roy Davis, Ronnie Davis, Jeremy Davis; aunt, Brittany (Kyle) Staples; and cousins, Shayla (Lee) Massey, Katelyn (Joseph) Davis, Candace Davis, Christopher Davis, Kieran Staples, and Lorelei Staples.

Visitation will be  12 pm  to 1 pm on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 310 Gator Road, Gaston, SC 29053. The funeral service will begin at 1 pm with  Pastor Mike Pool officiating. Burial will  follow at Southland Memorial Gardens, 700 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170. A live stream of the funeral will be on Forgiven Baptist Church's Facebook page. Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, is assisting the family.
