It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brian Alexander Davis, 62 of Lexington S.C. Born in Charleston, S.C. to Margie Higgins Davis. He was a loving father, caring brother, a proud Pawpaw and wonderful friend. The world will be a little bit dimmer without his beautiful soul here with us.
Pop was a dedicated tradesman and loved making families dreams come true through the work he loved doing, but his true legacy will always be the family he created. He was the light of our lives and the rock in which we all turned to. He had a heart of gold and always had an open door for anyone in need. He was a true Gamecocks fan and loved watching the games with family and friends. His laughter and dark humor were one of a kind. He always made the people around him laugh. He was the foundation of our family, and he set the example that with love and hard work, the life you want is within reach.
He was predeceased by his mother, Margie Higgins; and wife, Farris Davis.
He is survived by his sister, Autumn Davis; and his children, Robin Russell (Jason), Alexandrea Davis (Kevin), Logan Davis, and Renee Krantz; his grandchildren, Kerrington Hood, Jackson Davis, Hunter Krantz, Sabastian Reed, Kholton Reed, Madelynn (Peanut) Reed, Konner Russell, and Skylar Russell; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 18 at Crescent Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, July 17 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel.
