Brett Darren McGee

Brett Darren McGee, 39, passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2025.  Born in Lexington, SC he was the son of Darren Martin McGee and Kimberly (Kim) Derrick Wooten and he worked in the Telecommunication Industry.

A celebration of life will be held from 2-4 pm Sunday August 24, 2025 at Wings & Ale of Lexington 154 Ellis Ave.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriners Children’s Hospital,    950 W Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.  Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel is assisting the family.    

 Surviving are his parents,  Kimberly (Kim) Derrick Wooten (James) and Darren Martin McGee; children, Calissa McGee and Chandler McGee; mother of his children, Michelle Jaco; sister, Ashleigh Eagerton (Eddie), his grandmother; Judy McGee, and numerous other family members and friends.

   He was predeceased by his grandparents, Freddie (Pops) McGee, Franklin (Appletree) Derrick and Dorothy W. Mullins.
