Brenda Shirey

Brenda Sue Shirey, age 77 of Pelion, South Carolina passed away on September 1, 2025.
Brenda was born on December 28, 1947 in Central City, Kentucky. She was the daughter
of Gladys Marie and Rod Roland Higgs.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Ruby Vincent, June Crapps, Barbara
Slusher, Mildred Moore; and brother, Michael Earl Phillips.

She is survived by brothers, Michael Wayne Higgs and Edward Booth-Higgs (Ralph
Booth Higgs); daughters, Phoebe Smith (Rick), Abby Miller, Beverly Magdaleno (Jose)
and Gladys Moore. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren
and 1 great-great grandchild along with countless nieces, nephews and many loved ones
and friends that she counted as family.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Barr-Price
Funeral Homes & Crematorium, located at 609 Northwood Road, Lexington, South
Carolina, 29072, under the direction of Barr-Price Funeral Homes & Crematorium.
