Mr. Bobby Lee Daggerhart, 84, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, August 17, 2025.  Born in Leesville on July 23, 1941 he was a son of the late Vera and Edgar Daggerhart.  He graduated from Pelion High School and earned a State Farmers Degree from the South Carolina Department of Agriculture. In 1961, Bobby married Vernelle Kyzer and they established their home in the Fairview Crossroads Community.

Bobby’s talents and skills led him to work in many fields, some were as the business owner providing others with meaningful employment.  He worked in Emergency Medical Services for Lexington County, logging, long distance hauling, construction, and sales. He was an important resource in aiding farmers across the State with crop dusting, fertilizing, and agricultural management by piloting his helicopter and Cessna Ag-Truck.

Bobby was a member of Convent Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He was one of the volunteer organizers of Fairview Fire Department, Station 14, under Lexington County Fire Service where he served 37 years, serving in the positions of Captain and Fire Safety Officer. He was a man of varied interests, service as Boy Scout Leader to Troop 378 in the 1970s, and enjoyed photography, computers, and the latest technology. Bobby also grew beautiful flowers, particularly day lilies, that he shared with many in the community and they continue to enhance our local landscape. He was a devoted family man and enjoyed spending time with his family of which he was so proud.  His greatest honor was being a Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather to his loving children and family
