Bobby Talmage Hutto passed away Monday, February 15, 2021. Some of the most remarkable aspects of his life were his faith in God, love for his family, love of gardening, and woodworking. He took the time to study the Bible daily, and built a solid foundation of faith in God that grew ever stronger throughout his life. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. He loved to cook for his family, receiving special accolades for his barbecue. While all of his carpentry works were impressive, the cradles he built for his grandkids are cherished heirlooms. Bobby was a veteran, having served his country honorably in the US ARMY during the Vietnam Era. His hobbies included Golden Gloves boxing and fishing.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda G. Hutto; daughters, Dawn Hutto Whittle (Frank), and Rachelle Hutto-Rogers; son-in-law, H. Levy Rogers, III; grandkids, Morgan Whittle Huth (John), Rachel Elizabeth, Jacob Talmage, and Matthew Levy Rogers; brother, Rembert Hutto (Elizabeth); sister, Betty Tinsley; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A private service will be held Friday, February 19, 2021. Barr-Price Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to The Voice of the Martyrs.
The family would like to thank all of his doctors, nurses and support staff at Stone Pavilion.
