Bobby Ray Horne

 Memorial Services for Bobby Ray Horne, 76, will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday July 10, 2020 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital at ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.

   Mr. Horne passed away Monday July 6, 2020. Born in Ninety-Six he was the son of the late Pierce and Mattie Chaney Horne. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying fishing and hunting. Mr. Horne also loved tending to his cows. He retired from automotive paint and body work as well as working for Allis-Chalmers.

  The family would like to extend a very special thank you for all the care given to our father by his grandsons, Jesse Watts and Christopher Gantt and to MSA Hospice.

  Mr. Horne is survived by daughters, Darlene Gantt Craps (Arty), Cindy Louis Maroney, Theresa Boley (Jeff) and Donna Smith, brother Leonard Horne, sisters, Becky Hodges, Sue Padgett, Mary Hyler, 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. 

  He was predeceased by his wife, Mary L. Horne.
