Swansea-Billy Ray Pound, 76, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022.
He was born July 9, 1946 to the late Naomi Rucker and Cromer Sharpe.
Billy was a loving father, grandfather, and friend. He spent his career as an automotive mechanic. Billy was smart, talented, and had a true love for the projects he worked on. He was serious, dedicated, and passionate and it showed in all he chose to do. Billy enjoyed spending time with his grandsons and spoiling his dog, Poppie. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Surviving include his daughter, Tammy Peak (Steven); grandchildren, Christopher Pound and Darreon Porterfield; 4 great grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his daughter, Michelle Pound; and his granddaughter, Alesia Pound.
A memorial service will be held 12:00 p.m. (Noon) October 5, 2022 St. Paul Pentecostal Holiness Church, 648 St Matthews Rd, Swansea SC 29160. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family.
