Billie was a graduate of Wichita State University and is a retired school teacher who taught for forty years. She enjoyed watching her students learn and thrive to be the best versions of themselves. She was an avid reader, enjoyed posting about lost pets on Facebook, loved traveling with her husband who she shared many adventures with. She treasured the friendships she made over the years and remained in contact with them up until her death.
Billie put up a brave and hopeful battle following complications from a surgery. She endured with great strength, a positive attitude, and God. She passed away peacefully with her husband and daughter at her side. “When the time is right, I the Lord will make it happen.” Sleep in peace tonight, God is in control, Isaiah 60.22.
