Betty Shealy Bedenbaugh

Graveside service for Betty Shealy Bedenbaugh, 75, will be conducted 12:00 p.m. (Noon)  Saturday  at Union Lutheran Church Cemetery with Rev. Lance Henderson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105.  Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mrs. Bedenbaugh passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.   Born in El Paso, Texas, she was a daughter of the late Jefferson Levi and Elloree Johnson Shealy. She was a member of Union Lutheran Church and retired from the County of Lexington and the S.C. Retirement System as an Office Administrator.

Surviving are her husband, Wyman Bedenbaugh; daughter-in-law, Ann Watson, brothers, Charles Shealy and Jimmy (Pat) Shealy; sister, Becky Hall (Ralph); sister-in-law, Brenda Shealy; grandchildren, Steven Bedenbaugh, Vincent Bedenbaugh, Gina Jumper (J.D.), and Erika Watson and a great-grandchild, Wyatt Jumper and a number of nieces and nephews.

 She was predeceased by her son, Chris Bedenbaugh and a brother, Jeff Shealy.
