Betty S Johnson

Lexington – Betty S. Johnson, 76, passed away April 1, 2020. Born in Sally, SC, she was the daughter of the late John and Louise Toole Steverson. She was very active in her children’s lives. She was their softball coach, an avid South Carolina Gamecocks fan and Atlanta Braves fan. Mrs. Betty enjoyed playing the piano and was always a practical jokester and prankster every opportunity she had. Most importantly, she loved her children and grandchildren dearly.

She is survived by her son, Dean Hancock (Terry); Dana Gibbons (Sammy) and Rhonda Robinson (Scott); grandchildren, Kayla Bedenbaugh (Michael), Haley Priester, Spencer Hancock and Skyler Hancock; great-grandchildren, Raine, Taryn, and Grayson; and sister, Faye Albert (James).

She was predeceased by her husband, Randy Johnson.

Due to the current Covid-19 Restrictions, the family is having a private graveside service at Southland Memorial Gardens. The family would like for anyone to feel free to pay their respects on the online registry that will not be able to attend the service.
