Betty Risinger Steele Obituary
Lexington-Betty Risinger Steele, 88, passed away on January 9, 2021. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at the Steele Family Cemetery on Two Notch and Calks Ferry Road, in Lexington, SC. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel, is assisting the family.
Betty was born January 26, 1932 and was married to the late Ray Steele for 71 years. She worked for General Electric for 35 years, enjoyed cooking and gardening, and was a member of Round Hill Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Round Hill Baptist Church Building Fund.
Betty is survived by her sons, Dennis (Alma) Steele, Randy (Linda) Steele and Tim Steele; brother, Charles Risinger, 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Ray Steele; parents, Charlie E. and Nettie Risinger; brothers, Sammy and Stephen Risinger; and sister, Mildred Ballington.
