Betty Harley Hutto
May 14, 1940 – November 7, 2025
Betty Harley Hutto, 85, was born in Orangeburg, SC and was the daughter of the late Bunch Harley and Elizabeth Martin Harley. She was a member of Broadacres Baptist Church. Betty enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her daughters, Melissa Hutto Williams (Steve) of Cayce, Melinda Hutto Hoffman (Alan) of Cayce, and Honorary daughter Gail Yon Skinner (Frank) of West Columbia; a son, Elton Watson Hutto Jr. (Tammy) of Sandy Run; grandchildren, Morgan Cassidy Fertick (Clayton) of West Columbia, Harley Kay Hoffman of Lexington, Hannah Grace “Gracie” Hoffman of Lexington, Paul Elton Williams of Cayce, Delaney Elise Williams of Cayce; great-grandson, Miles Todd Fertick of West Columbia; sister, Mary Harley Yon of Lexington, and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elton Watson Hutto, Sr; brothers, Bobby and Pete Harley.
A visitation for Betty will be held from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 with the funeral to follow at 2:30 pm at Broadacres Baptist Church – 2350 Taylor Road, Cayce, SC. Burial to follow at Antioch Baptist Church - 1477 W.E. Jeffcoat Road, Gaston, SC. Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Broadacres Baptist Church Ladies Heart to Heart Ministry or to Antioch Baptist Church.
