Betty McQuatters Obituary
Betty Joye McQuatters, 93, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2026 in West Columbia, SC. She was born in Columbia on May 16, 1932 to the late James Furman and Ollie Me Joye. Betty had a career as an office manager with Allied Chemical for over 30 years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth R. McQuatters; brothers, James and Merell; and sisters, Marlene and Mildred.
Surviving include her four children, Brenda (Billy) Oswald, Sam, Stan and Skip; three grandchildren, Erin McQuatters, William McQuatters, and Jamie Oswald.
Her physical body is gone but her spirit will live on in the many lives she touched during her long and fruitful life.
Betty requested no memorial service. We encourage those who knew her to share memories on her memorial page. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
