Barbara Ann Rauch

Barbara Ann Herron Rauch passed away peaceful July 2, 2020, at age 74. She was born June 10, 1946, in Aiken South Carolina. She was the daughter of Albert and Viola Herron.

Barbara married Walter Rauch, they resided in Columbia. Barbara spent her life as a loving wife, sister, mother and friend to all. She loved gardening, reading books, and learning the history of her ancestors. Barbara became a mother shortly after getting married in 1962. Together she and Walter raised 2 children, Debra Lillard and Tim Rauch. Her children blessed their mother with grandchildren, her grandson Ricky Rauch, and a granddaughter Nicole Lillard. Her family grew even larger after her grandson Ricky married. Barbara was able to meet her great grandchildren Liam, and Kaleigh Rauch. Barbara was a kind woman who enjoyed the simple gifts in life. She was a joy to all, and will be missed by so many.

She is survived by children; Tim Rauch, Debra Lillard; Grandchildren, Ricky Rauch, Nicole Lillard; Great grandchildren, Liam and Kaleigh Rauch; siblings, Azille Hughes, Paul Herron, Luther Herron, Elizabeth "Libby" Nelson, Mary Magdline Gobble; and several nieces, and nephews.

The public is welcome to pay their respects on Monday, July 6, 2020 from 9am - 5pm at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel.
