Barbara Wingard Kaminer, of Lexington, South Carolina, passed away on June 30, 2025. Born in Columbia, SC on October 24, 1956, Barbara was a woman of vibrancy and wit, her spirit and laughter leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her. She was a loving homemaker, a role she cherished, always ensuring her home was a welcome haven for family and friends. Barbara's humorous nature and quick wit provided many moments of joy and laughter. She had a particular love for gardening, canning, and shopping, and an unparalleled fondness for boiled peanuts. But what mattered most to Barbara were her beloved grandchildren, whom she adored.
Barbara is survived by her sons, Travis Kaminer (Emily) and Andrew Kaminer (Christine); daughter, Cindy Freeland; brother, Doug Wingard (Karen); sisters, Linda Sease, Kay Fulmer (Randy), Julia Norris, Cheryl Jumper, and Patricia Roberts; and her cherished grandchildren, Madison, Andrew, Courtney, Mary Beth, and Caroline Kaminer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Kaminer; parents, Clarence and Wilma Wingard; and brothers-in-law, Roger Sease, Jerry Norris, and Rob Roberts.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at 10:00 am, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am, both at Barr-Price Funeral Homes & Crematorium, located at 609 Northwood Road, Lexington, South Carolina, 29072. Services are under the direction of Barr-Price Funeral Homes & Crematorium.
