B.C. Fulmer Obituary

Services for Berley Conrad “B.C.” Fulmer, 81 will be private at Ft. Jackson National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Monday at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to MSA Hospice, 2 Palmetto Wood Parkway, Suite 204, Irmo, SC 29063 or to Riverbanks Zoo, Botanical Gardens, 500 Wildlife Parkway, Columbia SC 29210. 

Mr. Fulmer passed away Friday, April 18, 2025.  Born in Saluda County, he was a son of the late J.C. and Gladys Shealy Fulmer. He was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, retired from Farm Credit Bank as Supervisor Computer Operator, and in his spare time he enjoyed gardening, cross stitch, and music.

Surviving are his brothers, Dick Fulmer and James Fulmer (Karen), sisters, Janice Hodge, Peggy Coleman, Gwen Ridlehoover (Robert), and Betty Patterson; brother-in-law, Reuben Grant (Ann), numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Novice Grant and Frances Snelgrove.
