Mr. Arnold Ray Lee, 84, of Leesville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 7, 2026. He was born on January 1, 1942 in Anderson, South Carolina to the late Walter Lee and Vera Littlefield. Arnold began his career in electronics where he worked for AVTEC until his retirement. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Batesburg where he sang in the choir and was a Sunday school teacher for 39 years. Arnold was also a member of the Ridge Arts Choral Society and he served in the United States Air Force. In his leisure time, he enjoyed singing, watching T.V., and bowling.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Gislinde Lee; son, Steven Lee (Rebekah); daughter, Stephanie Lee Burgess; and grandchildren, Gracyn Burgess and Brooke Burgess. He was predeceased by a grandson, Parker Burgess.
Memorial services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at First Baptist Church of Batesburg with the Rev. Henry Stamper officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the sanctuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel is assisting the Lee family with arrangements.
