Anne Fulmer Kirkland

Newberry - Anne Fulmer Kirkland, 76, passed away April 11, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Heyward L. Fulmer and Doris Vaughn Fulmer.

Mrs. Kirkland is survived by her husband of 53 years, Harvey “Benjie” Kirkland, Jr.; daughters, Lonica Kirkland Dowd (Lowell), Elisha Kirkland Shinn (James), and Gina Marie Kirkland; 3 grandchildren, Zachary Branch (Caitlin), Landon Dowd and Luke Dowd; 2 great-grandchildren, Riley Anne Branch and Presley May Branch; brother, Cecil  Fulmer; sister-in-law, Neal Fulmer; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a grandson, Benjamin Alexander Branch and brother, Larry Fulmer.

Mrs. Kirkland was a realtor for 15 years and was a member of the SC Realtors Association, and a member of Colony Lutheran Church in Newberry. She was very nurturing and loved to take care of and spend time with her family. Mrs. Kirkland was very outgoing and loved people, traveling, cooking and looking at her cows on her father’s farm.

A memorial service will be held 3pm Friday, April 16, 2021 at Colony Lutheran Church 48 Colony Church Road Newberry SC 29108. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make donations to The Parkinson's Foundation in her name. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family.
