Angela "Angie" Lucas Obituary

Ridgeway-Angela “Angie” M. Lucas, 65, passed peacefully after a very courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, July 21, 2021. Born on August 7, 1955 in Fairfield County she was the daughter of the late Cletus C. & Rosalie Raines. Her life’s passion was horses, painting, and her family.

Surviving is her husband of 48 years, Tommy Lucas; son, Toby (Amanda) Lucas of Kershaw, SC; daughter, Emily (Bret) Knight of Mt Holly, NC; son, Michael (Candice) Lucas of Ridgeway, SC; 11 grandchildren, Thomas Knight, Sariah (Philippe) Gentry, Christian Knight, Autumn Barrett, Samantha Lucas, Madison Barrett, Michael Lucas Jr., Gabriel Knight, Savannah Lucas, Connor Lucas, and Colton Lucas; 3 great grandchildren, Genesis Marie Knight, Belle River Gentry, and Asher Zane Knight (due on Angie’s birthday); brothers, George Raines and Donald Raines; and sisters, Bobbie Charland and Linda Rugg.

She was predeceased by her parents; and siblings, Peggy McKay, Anita Kelly, Elizabeth Earl, and Marvin Raines.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Contact Emily or Toby for additional information. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family.
