Andrea Foss Obituary

Andrea Foss, affectionately known as Andi, passed away on February 14, 2026, in Gaston, South Carolina, at the age of 26. Born on May 29, 1999, in Houlton, Maine, she brought light and laughter into the world from her very first day. Andi’s life was a vibrant tapestry woven with love for her family and friends.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Matthew Beach; her cherished children, Eli, Eleanor, and Andrew; her mother-in-law, Mary Beach and father-in-law, Thomas Beach; her beloved grandparents, James Foss, Roxanne Moores, Donald Moores, and Peter Bither; her loving mother, Tracy Myers and father, James Foss Jr.; her sisters, Eryn Foss and Bailey Foss; her brother, James Foss, III; her aunt, Jennifer Russell; niece, Olivia Jones; and nephew, Wilder Jones.

She was predeceased by her great-grandmother, Phyllis Mulligan; and grandmother, Connie Foss.

Family was at the heart of everything Andi did. She took immense pride in creating meaningful memories with her children and treasured every moment spent together. Her love extended to all those around her—her warmth and compassion were felt deeply by everyone who knew her. Andi’s creative spirit shone brightly through her many hobbies. She loved to craft and paint pictures, often sharing handmade gifts that reflected her thoughtfulness and care. Gift-giving was one of the many ways she expressed love for those close to her. Known for dressing up and being a goofball at all times, Andi had an infectious laugh that could brighten even the darkest days. Her playful nature made every gathering more joyful. She found delight in simple pleasures—Sonic dates for ice cream with her sisters were a cherished tradition. Andi also enjoyed creating virtual versions of her family on The Sims and watching Twilight, which remained her favorite movie. Her love for llamas was legendary among those who knew her best.

A woman of deep faith, Andi was baptized at Palmetto Church of Christ, where she began a lifelong journey in Christianity. Her devotion to God was unwavering, and worship held a special place in her heart. The church community became an extended family to Andi—she cherished every moment spent in fellowship and service.

Andi’s passion for teaching young children was evident in all she did. She poured herself wholeheartedly into nurturing young minds with patience and creativity. Her dedication inspired those around her to approach challenges with courage—she lived by the motto “I always bounce back,” never backing down from adversity. Her compassion knew no bounds; Andi was always willing to help others no matter the situation. Friends and family could count on her support during times of need—a testament to the strength of her character and the depth of her kindness. Those who knew Andi will remember not only how she made them feel but also how she made them laugh—with goofy comments that lifted spirits and an unforgettable sense of humor that left lasting memories.

Though gone too soon, Andrea Foss leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, faith, and resilience. Her memory will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to share in the joy of her life. May Andrea’s memory bring comfort to those who loved her most and serve as a reminder of the beauty she brought into this world.
