Andre "Andy" Bradford Davenport

Andre “Andy” Bradford Davenport, Jr. passed away October 28th, 2023 at his home in Cayce, SC. Andy was born in Columbia to Andre and Ruth Davenport on May 20, 1958. He was an avid outdoorsmen who loved fishing, boating, and camping. Andy took pride in his work and family, and was always the man you could call upon for help. He was also a Greeter and one of the first smiling faces to see any Sunday morning at his family church, Broadacres Baptist Church. His favorite topic of conversation to anyone he met was his sons and grandsons. Not a day passed by where he wasn’t bragging about their accomplishments and lives or calling them to talk about his beloved Gamecocks or Vikings. 

Andy is survived by his parents, Andre and Ruth Davenport; his sons, Mitchell Bradford Davenport (Juno) and Zachary Ronald Davenport (Amanda); his grandchildren, Mitchell, Micah, and Milo Davenport; his brother, Jeffrey Davenport; and his sister, Angela Garnett. 

Visitation will be held at 11:00 AM at Broadacres Baptist Church Friday November 3rd, 2023. A celebration of life will follow immediately after at 12:00.
