Memorial services for Amber Nichole Proctor will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Pelion United Methodist Church, 810 Magnolia Street, Pelion, SC 29123. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Proctor passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024.  Born in Lexington County, she is a daughter of James H. Shealy, Jr. (Deborah) and the late Michelle Floyd Shealy. She graduated from Christian Kingdom Academy and from Midlands Technical College.  She loved children and nursing, working for many years in childcare, teaching, and in the medical field.  Mrs. Proctor worked at several local daycares, Sandhills Elementary, and Wellmore of Lexington as a LPN/Medical Tech. 

Surviving are her beloved husband and soul mate, Michael Proctor, her heart and soul, her son, Lee Proctor, her father and step-mother, James H. Shealy, Jr. (Deborah), sister, Melissa Lynn Blodgett, sister-in-law, Darlene Senn, mother-in-law, Ann Proctor, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. 

She was predeceased by her mother, Michelle Floyd Shealy, sister, Brittany Shealy, uncles, Leonard H. and Kevin “Babe” Shealy, cousins, Wendy Shealy, Morgan “Munkey” Spires, and Rusty Shealy, brother-in-laws, Jamie and Tim Proctor, father-in-law, Aaron Proctor, grandparents, James H. Shealy, Sr., Clarence and Faye Spires, Robert Floyd, and Jannette Wolfe.
