Services for Alline Minnie Cook will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday , June 26, 2022 at Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Burial will follow at Good Hope Church Cemetery, 901 Shore Rd., Gilbert, SC.
Mrs. Cook was born February 11, 1929, at Cedar Grove in Gilbert, SC., a daughter of the late Pinckney and Bleaker Davis Caughman. She was called to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. Alline was educated at Shady Grove in Gilbert, SC. She was an active member of the Mt. Olive C. M. E. Church.
Mrs. Cook was predeceased by her loving husband of 75 years, F. D. Cook; her children, Alvin Caughman, Frank Summers, Roy Cook; a grandson, Carl Cook; her siblings, Maureen Davenport, Thelma Worthy, Frank Caughman, David Caughman, Maxine Dent, Sydney Caughman and Ermenise Williams.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories, daughters, Sarah Smith (Eddie), Denise Jackson and Marilyn Thompson; two sons, Franklin Cook and Ewin (Pam) Cook; two daughters-in-law, Annie Caughman and Ann Cook; her sister-in-law, Vivian Caughman, brothers-in-law, Robert Cook and Louis Williams, all of Lexington, SC; special sons, Arthur Ray Cook, Jr., Randy (Fatima) Pittman; special daughters, Frances Cook, Katherine Cook, Gwen Cook, Diane Stevens, and Pamela Dent; twenty-nine grandchildren, forty-nine great grandchildren, sixteen great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends, including Bryan Dunn, whom she loved dearly.
