Albert Lee Waters

Mr. Albert Lee Waters, 87, passed away May 8, 2026. Born on February 13, 1939, he was the son of the late Benjamin Sr. and Rosa Estelle Waters. He was a foreman for Pettit Construction Company for over 30 years. After retirement, he worked for Rawls Auto Auction. Albert was an avid crappie fisherman, deer and squirrel hunter. 

Albert is survived by his wife, of 67 years, Henrietta Waters, children; Debbie Mitchell (Wayne), Pam Shumpert (Derwin), Tyler Waters (Patti) and Carla Summers (Jamie), grandchildren; Tory Mitchell (Jessi), Nikki Bodie (Quentin), Kristan Hydrick (Brandon), Marissa Burgess (Austin), Slayter Waters (Hannah), Hattie-Grace Wheeler (Tristan), Tanner Shumpert, Annabelle Summers, Drayton Summers, great grandchildren; Caden, Callen, Ava, Blakely, Cohen, Cade, Collins, Bryer and Clay, brothers; Clyde Waters, Carl Ray Waters, and Ben Waters. As well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Waters was predeceased by his brothers, Herbert Waters and Homer Waters.

Services for Albert Lee Waters will be conducted on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Barr-Price Funeral Home Historic B-L Chapel, with Rev. Ron Pelfrey and Rev. Charles Leonhardt officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
