Adlaide S. Cribb

Mrs. Adlaide Stroud Cribb, 83, of Leesville, SC passed away peacefully on February 7th, 2026. She was born February 25, 1942 in Hemingway, SC to the late Frazier C. Stroud and Alphia McKenzie Stroud Poston.

Adlaide worked many years as a Real Estate agent until she retired, but never stopped working, always building and fixing things until she couldn't. She enjoyed taking trips to Las Vegas and Cherokee, NC with her girl friends and family, casting her shrimping net down in Beaufort on family vacations, and tending to her home and property while riding her John Deere Gator. Mrs. Cribb was a member of First Calvary Baptist Church in Leesville and enjoyed volunteering at their Food Pantry each Tuesday. Adlaide was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.

She is survived by her two sons, Gregg Cribb of West Columbia and Randy Cribb of Batesburg-Leesville; daughters in love, Sheila Cribb of Cayce and Lisa Ducom of Batesburg-Leesville; granddaughter, Miranda (Tyler) Lundgren of Lexington; grandson, Cory Cribb of Columbia; great-granddaughter, Emmy Lundgren; nieces, Sandra Peloso and Susan Raines; nephew, Doug Stroud, and many great nephews and nieces.

She was predeceased by her sister, Penny Durham; brother, Harold Stroud; and husband, Donnie Cribb.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Cribb will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 2:00 pm at First Calvary Baptist Church 2320 Cedar Grove Road Leesville, SC 29070. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 from 5pm to 7pm. at Barr Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel. Adlaide's wishes are in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to First Calvary Baptist Church Food Pantry.
